MIDWEST FIDUCIARY SERVICES:  Early in 2005, Midwest Fiduciary Services, Inc. was created.  This company draws all employees' talents together and allows them to:

  • Conduct structured fiduciary assessments for Investment Stewards (i.e., ERISA plans, foundations, endowments, public funds, and other individuals entrusted with money), Support Services, and Due Diligence;
  
  • Conduct structured fiduciary assessments for Eligible Investment Advice Arrangements & Fiduciary Advisers, Investment Advisors, Investment Managers, and Third-Party Administrators and Recordkeepers;

  • Prepare Investment Policy Statements;

  • Provide consulting for ERISA employee benefit plans and Investment Committees; and

  • Provide internal control and process assessments

IRENE F. DIAMOND, CPA, CPC, QPA, AIFA®

Irene Diamond graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, Nebraska and Mary College in Bismarck, North Dakota, with a a Bachelor of Science degree, Accounting major, and a Business Administration minor.  After obtaining her Certified Public Accountant license in 1985, Irene worked for two CPA firms in their audit and tax divisions.  Irene started her own CPA firm in 1991 in Sioux Falls, SD, doing tax, small business accounting, and third-party administration of Section 125 (cafeteria) and retirement plans.

Her Third-Party Administration firm joined forces with the Employee Benefits Division of Williams & Company, P.C. (a regional CPA firm) in Year 2000, to form their wholly-owned affiliate Siouxland Benefit Consultants, LC (SBC).  At SBC, her position was Consultant and Director of Marketing.

Early in 2005, Irene created Midwest Fiduciary Services, Inc.  This company draws all her and her employee talents together and allows them to:  conduct structured fiduciary assessments for various entities, prepare Investment Policy Statements, provide consulting for ERISA employee benefit plans, and provide internal control and process assessments.

Irene has satisfactorily completed tests through the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA) to achieve the designations of "Qualified Pension Administrator" (QPA) in 1996 and "Certified Pension Consultant" (CPC) in 1999.  In 2004, she satisfactorily completed tests for NASD Series 6, 63, and 65 and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies.  In 2006, the AIFA® (Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst) designation was achieved.  AIF® and AIFA® Program graduates are specially trained in vestment fiduciary responsibility and portfolio management.

Irene is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, South Dakota CPA Society, fi360, and American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA) and has advised several Investment Committees and served as Trustee of the Sioux Falls Fireman's Pension Fund, along with other monetary entrustments.

 

CECILEE M. DIAMOND, CPA, AIFA®

 

Cecilee Diamond graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO and attained her Master’s of Accountancy at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Cecilee previously worked for a medium-sized public accounting firm and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC in Kansas City, MO performing audits of public and private companies, mainly for Financial Services organizations, audits of benefit plans, SAS70 reviews, and IT and business control assessments. At PwC, Cecilee mainly worked with governmental clients assisting with business process reviews and control implementations. Cecilee has five-plus years of auditing experience.

 

Cecilee obtained her Certified Public Accountant designation in 2007. She obtained the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst™ (AIFA®) certifications in 2009.

 

Cecilee is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Illinois CPA Society, Missouri CPA Society, fi360, Institute of Internal Auditors, and Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
